O.k. I lied, this is officially my last blog for the night.

I keep forgetting to mention the Bob Poe exhibit. I stopped by Saturday, and talked with Bob for a little about the work. If your interested in low-fi approaches to photography, I suggest you check it out. Bob did an amazing job, creating large scale prints, using nothing but iphoto, and his iphone, which is free of any of the newer photo app's you can get for the iphone that allow for more creative control over the iphone's camera. The work is largely abstract in subject matter as the phone doesn't do much for large scale highly detailed imagery, however, his images have some lovely painterly qualities to them.

There's also a few Joel Peter Witkins inside the auction house gallery, along with some other good work from renown artist, but seriously all you need for motivation is Witkin. They are, only 16x20" if that, but come on, Witkin...... Joel Peter Witkin, seriously.
