It was 4am, after sitting down at the beach for almost two hours, I suddenly realized that the moon is not setting over the water right now. No worries, it gave me time to think about a few things, one example is, what it must've been like in those final moments before swimming off towards Hawaii.
I went ahead and shot anyways, and I'm not happy at all with the shot I got. The scene was shot to wide, and combined with the low light, it's nearly impossible to tell exactly when I disappear into the water. Dawn might be the better way to go, for two reasons, one, is the availability of light (that's obvious), two, morning seems to suit the idea of the journey, as well as rebirth and renewal. I was gonna shoot last night, but I was already on my third project for the night, and I failed to get up after a short nap, which kinda sucks, because clear skies seem to be more appropriate then cloudy skies. Oh, well that's what I get for waiting so long, then again stormy sea's might work as well. My only concern is that it might read simply as just a suicide mission.

  1. Damn. As of late, I can't wake up from my "30minute" naps either :( Guess we both need to do a project about better alarm clocks.
BUT KEEP ON GOIN BUDDY, SEMSTER'S ALMOST OVER :)
